Wow… what a blessed couple weeks it’s been as we celebrated Palm Sunday, held my installation, observed Holy Week, and gathered together with other Christians in Lake City for our Community Easter Service of the Resurrection. This Sunday, April 11th begins the second week of Eastertide and we’ll be celebrating communion, so please remember to prepare your communion elements if you’re joining us via Zoom (link below).
If you’re planning on attending the service in person, I’d ask that you let me know via phone or email by Saturday night, so that I can prepare the Lord’s Supper for the service. This Sunday we’ll be exploring the the text from 1 John 1:1-2:2. You can read it and the other lectionary texts for the week here.
There will be games on Monday night, but we will not be having Bible Study this week, as I’m still on study leave (which is going well). The elders will also be gathering on Wednesday, for our April Session meeting, so if there is something you’d like to share with them, please do so soon. March Session
The CPC Session meets this week on Wednesday, April 14th from 10am to 12pm. If you’d like to touch base with an elder, please do so before Wednesday.
No Bible Study this Week!
There is no Bible study this week, but we will return to our Wednesday Bible Study on April 21st to explore Lamentations.
