Hey Everyone,
I hope all is well on this sunny, but chilly morning (in Lake City). This Sunday, March 6th, we’ll gather with Grace Christian Fellowship at the Lake City Art Center for their monthly community worship gathering at 9:30am. During the service, the AICM mission team will share testimonies about our trip to Show Low, AZ and our ministry on the White Mountain Apache Reservation. If you’re not in town, don’t worry, I’ll still be broadcasting the service via Zoom. The link can be found below.
And, don’t forget, we’ll also be joining Grace Fellowship for their monthly potluck after the service. So plan on bringing your favorite dish as we celebrate an incredible mission trip and the unity of the body of Christ in Christian fellowship.
It was great to see a number of you join us for our Ash Wednesday Service this past Wednesday. Several of you commented that you’ve really come to appreciate the prayers of the Taizé Community. Well then, I’m happy share that during the six weeks of the Lent (March 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th and April 6th, 13th), we’ll be offering weekly prayers in the CPC sanctuary. The gatherings will begin at 12:00pm (noon) and last around 25-30 minutes. They will primarily consist of sung Taizé prayers, a reading from Scripture and a period of silence. If you hear the noon bells, you’ll know that we’re gathering.

The Monday, March 7th, we’ll return to our weekly Games Up Here gathering. Join us in-person or online (contact Jason to join online) at 7:00pm at the Presbyterian Annex.
Wednesday Bible Study
Join us on Zoom this Wednesday, March 9th from 5:00-6:30pm as we look at the book of James. The Zoom link can be found below and on our website.
Men’s Prayer Breakfast
Join the men of Lake City this Thursday, March 10th at 7:00am for good food, prayer, and Bible study.

Don’t forget, we’re having another Cookie Drive! We’re low on cookies for our post-service fellowship time. If you’re willing to make a few dozen cookies, please do and put them in the freezer in Darley Hall in ziplock bags. Thanks in advance for those offerings.
