Hey Everyone
It’s Friday and it’s a beautiful afternoon in Lake City. I hope you’re all well and in good spirits.
Tomorrow Saturday, June 5th is our next CPC Work Day. We’ll meet at the Annex to put up the final garden bed! If there are enough people, we’ll also spruce up the front of the sanctuary. Join us tomorrow morning from 9:00am until 12:00pm. Coffee and some measure of breakfast baking will be available. 🙂
This Sunday, June 6th is the first Lord’s Day worship of the Ordinal Season, in which our colors turn to green. We will also celebrate the Eucharist at the service, so if you’re joining us via Zoom, please bring your own elements to the gathering. This week’s preaching text is from 2 Corinthians 4:13-5:1 and the sermon is titled Not Seeing is Believing. To read this text and the other lectionary passages click here.

Games Up Here
We’re playing games this week on Monday, June 7th starting at 7:00pm MST. We’ll play the “roll and write” game Silver and Gold on Zoom at 7:00pm (see the Games up here page for player sheet and rules). Then, we’ll break out a few more Island themed games at the Annex.
Tea Time Tuesday!
That’s right, it’s time for Tea Time Tuesday. It starts this week on Tuesday, June 8th from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. us at the Annex as we begin THE SUMMER OF TEA. Tuesday will also start our official Mugging. Donate your second or third favorite mug to our little supply of hot beverage mugs.
CPC June Session
This coming Wednesday, June 9th, we’ll have the CPC June Session at 10:00am in the Annex.
Bible Study this Week
Join us for our weekly Bible study on Wednesday June 9th from 5:00pm to 6:30pm, as we explore the books of Habakkuk, Zephaniah, and Haggai. We’ll meet on Zoom and in the Sanctuary.
Men’s Prayer Breakfast
Gather with the men of Lake City this Thursday, June 10th at 7:00am MST in the Baptist Fellowship Hall for the Men’s Prayer Breakfast.
