Fourth Sunday of Epiphany

Hey Everyone,

I hope you’re all well and bearing the light of Christ in the world on this last Friday of the month. We still don’t have much snow here in Lake City, but we’re hoping for more. In two days we’ll gather together to celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Epiphany with the Lord’s Supper during the Sunday morning worship service. Join us at 10:00am in person in the CPC sanctuary and on Zoom (links below). If you’re joining us via Zoom, please bring your own communion elements to the broadcast.

POTLUCK
For those joining us in person, don’t forget that this Sunday is our first-Sunday-of-the-month-potluck. We’ll be gathering directly after the service for this special time of fellowship. The theme for this potluck is “something red (or spicy).” For those who’ve asked me to what bring, I’ve suggested your family’s secret chili recipe. If there are enough chilis, we can bring out the ballots! (we’ll be bringing a spicy elk curry, for those interested).

THIS WEEK
Alas, it’s that time of year again. This coming Monday, February 2nd, we’ll be taking down the Christmas decorations. The festivities will begin at 9:30am in Darley Hall.

This Monday, February 2nd, we’ll gather for Games Up Here in Darley Hall from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. All are welcome for tabletop games! No experience necessary.

This coming Wednesday, February 4th, the Session of CPC will gather for our monthly meeting at 10:00am in Darley Hall.

Our weekly Bible Study will also meet this week on Wednesday, February 4th at 5:00pm in Darley Hall. This week, we’ll take a deeper dive into the Dead Sea Scrolls. Join us in person and on Zoom for this gathering.

That’s it for this week folks, here are your Zoom links and Sunday’s order of worship:
