Hey Everyone!
I hope you are all well in your respective locations. Winter feels like it’s going to come early this year in Lake City. Although we haven’t had any notable snow in town, the mountain tops are covered, much to the delight of many.
Although our weekly Lord’s Day Worship is just around the corner, I wanted to remind you that we’re meeting for the second session of our study on the book, The Practice of the Presence of God. Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21st, we’ll explore the four Conversations and his sixteen Letters. Join us at 5:00pm in Darley Hall as we delve into the heart of Brother Lawrence’s writing.
This Sunday, October 25th, is the Twenty-First Sunday of Ordinal Time and we’ll gather at 10:00am the CPC sanctuary and through our Zoom broadcast. The links to the order of worship and the broadcast can be found below.
Next week, all systems are a go. We’ll have Games Up Here in Darley Hall at 7:00pm on Monday, October 26th. Join us for a couple of hours for some tabletop games. No experience necessary and all are welcome. Our weekly Bible study will also gather on Wednesday, October 28th in Darley Hall for the final session of Brother Lawrence’s book.
That’s it for this week and next’s as well. Below you’ll find all the usual links. See you soon.
