Hey Everyone!
I hope all is well in your worlds. It’s a beautiful day in Lake City and the colors are out, much to my delight. Below you’ll find my weekly update as we begin our transition into the off-tourist season.
Sunday Worship
This Sunday, October 4th, will be the Eighteenth Sunday of Ordinal Time, it’s also World Communion Sunday, that special Lord’s Day worships service where we join with Christians around the globe in the most sacred practice that Christ gave us–The Lord’s Supper. Join us for this Eucharistic service this Sunday at 10:00am in the CPC sanctuary and online through our Zoom broadcast.
First-Sunday-Of-The-Month-Potluck
Don’t forget that this Sunday, October 4th also marks our return to monthly potlucks on the first Sunday of the month. This Sunday’s potluck is a free-for-all, although if you’re looking for a theme, I suggested integrating pumpkin or pumpkin spice into something you make. No matter what you bring, I’m sure it will be great. The potluck will begin directly after the Sunday morning worship service.
Next Week
Next week, our regularly scheduled gathering are still cancelled. Both Games Up Here and our weekly Bible Study will return the following week: on Monday, October 12th and Wednesday, October 14th. In our weekly Bible study, we’ll begin a several week series on the book, Practicing The Presence of God, by Brother Lawerence.
I believe that’s it. Here is your Zoom link and the order of worship for this week:
