February 21st is the first Sunday of Lent, when we’ll be exploring the very short narrative of Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness, as recorded by the Gospel of Mark. To encourage participation in communal play, the player-sheet is conveniently located on the backside of the announcements in the bulletin and also in the last post (scroll down) and on the Games Up Here page. Three places!. Now, all you need is a pencil and the Zoom link, which can be found on the CPC website and is also posted to the local Lake City Facebook group page.
The Creed Class
Our class on the Apostles’ Creed returns this Tuesday, February 23rd from 4:00pm to 5:00pm MST. The Zoom link is on the website, but this week we’ll also be broadcasting from the CPC sanctuary. So if you’d like to participate in person, join us live at 4:00pm. This week, we’ll be exploring the first two statements about God the Father and God the Son.
Weekly Bible Study
Join us for our weekly Bible Study as we look at the book of Psalms–the only book in the Bible that we read every Sunday! We’re meeting at our usual time on Wednesday, February 24th (5:00-6:30pm) on Zoom.
