Summer Community Worship Service

Hey CPC,

I hope you are all well and dry on this rainy Sunday morning in Lake City. In a couple of hours we’ll be gathering on the soccer field across from the medical center on Henson Street. The Summer Community Worship Service will begin at 10am. As many of you already know, I’ll be the preacher this morning and I’ll be continuing in our examination of the most popular hymns of our times. This morning I’ll be exploring the Battle Hymn of the Republic, as we consider what it means to be the Glory of the Coming of the Lord.

Please bring your own chairs and maybe some rain gear in case it does rain. I’ve been told we’ve never cancelled the service, so we’re marching on. 😉 Due to possibility of rain, I can’t guarantee that the whole service will be completely broadcasted on Zoom, but I will try my best to stream the whole service. Please use this link if you’re going to try and join us: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82302303157?pwd=neAv2Ywp22AU0udNZ-y11AjO07tRcW.1

I’ll be sending another email out later with our weekly announcements and Zoom links, but for now, know that there are no 4th of July activities at the church. There will be no games offered tomorrow night, but we will have both the Tuesday 9:00am and the Wednesday 5:00pm Bible studies offered as normal.

Finally, if you’re joining us online, here’s the downloadable order of worship:

That’s it for this morning… Hopefully we’ll see you soon.
