Hey Everyone!
I hope you’re all enjoying the beautiful colors of this season. The air is cooling and the days are shortening, and we’re returning to quieter times for the whole community. As you find your rest this month, don’t forget that our weekly programming is returning this week.
This Sunday, October 11th is the Nineteenth Sunday of Ordinal time. Join us at 10:00am for our Lord’s Day Worship Service held in the CPC sanctuary and on Zoom. Fellowship with cookies and coffee will follow directly after the service.
This coming Monday, October 12th, we’ll return to our Monday night Games Up Here tabletop game night at 7:00pm in Darley Hall. Then, next Tuesday, October 13th, the CPC Session will meet in Darley Hall at 9:00am. Finally, Wednesday, October 14th, we’ll also return to our weekly Bible study schedule.
Starting this week, the Bible study returns to Darley Hall. This Wednesday, we’ll dive into Practicing the Presence of God, by Brother Lawrence. The book can be found at most major retail outlets. It can also be downloaded FREE through this link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1H1Whgfn-NPy2dqvXDV85Jz4p9GJq3tSQ?usp=sharing. When you click on the link above, it will take you to a public folder with various versions available for download for free. Alternatively, you can also read the book online using this link: https://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/5657/pg5657-images.html, which will open up the text directly on your device.
I believe that’s it for this week. Here are your links and the order of worship for this Sunday:
