Third Sunday of Advent

I hope you’re all well and in good spirits on this freezing Saturday morning. It’s breathtakingly beautiful here in Lake City as we’ve been covered with a blanket of fresh snow. You non-winter residents should come up and visit us. 🙂

This Sunday marks the mid-point of our journey through the Advent season. This Sunday we’ll not only light the pink candle of joy, we’ll also be celebrating the Lord’s Supper, so please plan accordingly if you’re joining us via Zoom. After the service tomorrow, we’ll be having our monthly potluck. So plan on bringing a brunch-ish dish to share and staying to eat and fellowship with our faith community.

Games Up Here

December Session
This Wednesday, December 15th, the CPC elders will meet for the final time this year. Starting January, we’ll welcome our elders elects.  

Weekly Bible Study
Join us on Zoom this Wednesday, December 15th from 5:00-6:30pm as we explore the book of Philippians. The Zoom link can be found in your weekly email.

Potluck Sunday
Join us after the worship service for our monthly potluck brunch. For additional information, contact Lynn Hudgeons. 

Christmas Eve Service
Join us on Friday, December 24th for our ecumenical Christmas Eve Service in the yard of CPC. With a liturgy of Scripture and song, we’ll usher in Christmas by lifting our voices and candles to welcome in the new born King. Service will begin at 5:30pm and last around 30 minutes.
